The story… The first WMOM Lake Jump took place in the year 2000. It started as a simple dare between two WMOM DJ’s. There was no charity affiliation, no huge crowds and no money raised. Just two looking to have some fun by making a splash both in the lake and on the air. About 12 MOM listeners showed up to take the plunge on that chilly spring morning in 2000. Little did they know that initial jump would start a fast-growing tradition that is now moving into its tenth year and still going strong.
